CarterTyberghein were approached to design the interior of the penthouse apartment of a building designed by SOM in the Docklands with dramatic views along the Thames. To echo the shape of the building they introduced a curved marble entrance hall to the heart of the apartment. From this space, rooms lead off through full height bespoke Indian Rosewood doors, which enhance the height of the rooms and create drama.

Luxurious materials with simple details were selected to retain the contemporary ambiance, but at the same time add a touch of decoration. Technology was at the forefront of the design with individual programming for sound, vision, lighting, heating, electric window treatments and so on in each room.
Textures and subtle shades of fabric were chosen to complement the fixtures. Furniture and accessories were sourced throughout Europe, with many pieces of furniture being custom-designed by CarterTyberghein to ensure individuality.
